What an afternoon! The children of SJPII were transfixed with Pr. and Mrs. Adrete’s presentation on daily life and culture in ancient Rome! The boys and girls of our dear school learned what it was like to be a boy or girl living in Rome over 2000 years ago!
They sampled a stylus and slate, sported togas, and donned military gear. It was an especially fruitful and timely presentation for our 1st/2nd grade class, the students of which are currently steeped in Roman history.
Check out these great pictures from our event! Thank you to all who made this event possible. We are so grateful for the relationship that we have formed with UWGB’s own ancient history experts!
