St. John Paul II Classical School gives a warm welcome to Mrs. Jennifer Budde, a graduate of UW-Madison. With a degree in Graphic Design and Art Education, Jennifer began teaching art within the De Pere School District.
Mrs. Budde and her husband, John, are raising five children between the ages of nineteen and seven. She enjoys camping, hiking and focusing her creative energy “Soaking up the Son” with family and friends.
Some unique facts about Mrs. Budde: she won a fishing contest by catching 107 fish in just one day; at Christmas, one can drive by her home and view a life-size nativity scene which is actually a mold-casting of Mr. and Mrs. Budde; during the Easter season, Mrs. Budde enjoys decorating Pysanky eggs; and, during past autumnal seasons, Mr. Budde stocked up the brick kiln for her to fire ceramic pieces using the ancient Raku method.
Mrs. Budde is excited to be back in the classroom. Through her guidance, SJPII students will actively enjoy and understand the beauty of art in present, past and future generations. Challenging students, art will be correlated with student’s other academic classes.
